How do I make my brother stop purposely provoking my ocd without bringing up my ocd? My parents freak out when I say anything about it

Your parents should talk to him. Hopefully, he will change his behavior. Wishing you well. God bless you.

Sometimes it seems a sibling's job is to agitate and irritate. I am very sensitive to sounds so my sister would make irritating sounds just because she knew it bothered me. My parents thought I was overreacting so I didn't get much support from them.

As a parent, I think it's important to support our kids, and your parents should be supporting you. However, parents aren't perfect, and sometimes kids have to figure things out on their own.

Maybe you can try to explain to your brother that provoking your OCD is kind of like having mosquito bites all over your body and not being allowed to scratch any of them. Let him know how much you would appreciate his support. He might not stop right away, but it may help him understand, better.

Good luck!
