Hi..I just logged onto this site and caught where you said you were taking Celexa. Better check with your doc about it because I was on 60mgs..and was taking down to 40mgs. It's one of those "black label..or black bottle" warnings. They are saying it's causing heart problems. My phychiatrist sent me for an EKG 2 wks.ago..2hrs. later my daughter got a call that it showed an abnormal reading. She wants me to see a cardio doc and took me completely off it. I'm on Effoxcer now. I can't see the cardio doc untl March 5th...The reading showed I have a "bundle branch block" whatever that is. I just saw my phychiatrist again this past Friday..and she said she hopes once I'm off of it she's hoping I'll be fine. It really worked good for me when I was on 60mgs. Not as well on 40mgs. That's when she added the Effexcor. Now as I said I'm off the Celexa she increased my Effexsor. I think I spelled it wrong but I'm sure you know what I mean. Hope you talk to your doc about it. Good luck & take care.

Yeah, I'm on Celexa too and it does absolutely nothing for me. I hope everything gets all sorted out :)

Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.

Thank you agriffin! I hope you find something that works better for you! They started me on additional meds, trazadone and abilify. She is hoping by adding the additional meds with the celexa it will help. I am hoping the same. I know the trazadone is helping, however I cannot start the abilify till Wed.

Have you both talked to your Phychiatirist or doc about Celexa? This is a "black label bottle" I'm surprised they have not taken it off the market. My therapist even brought it to my atttention. I would'nt want to see anyone having heart issues off this med. I was skeptical about going off because it really worked for me...but was worried about my heart especially after the EKG. Hopefully when I see the cardio doc...things will be ok. My phychiatrist is also hoping that things will work them selves out with being off the Celexa. I too have been on Abilify..it made me have hand tremors. Although I'm on Trazadone for sleep and helps alot. I'm not a great sleeper as it is. I don't mean to be rude...just concerned.
